Join BCHET for an easy ride out of the Walnut Mountain Trail head located in Roan Mountain,TN on Saturday Sept 14 @ 10am! The organized ride will be approximately 10 miles long. Trail is a mix of forest service road and trail. Level to rolling terrain. If you haven’t had a chance to get up to this trail head this will be a great opportunity to learn some of the trails in the area. If you have any questions, please call 423-306-7213. Coordinates for the trail head are 36.23512, -82.02429. You should be able to plug these into your map app and reach the parking lot with no problem. It’s a good idea to write down directions, take screen shots, etc as signal can be limited in this area. We can arrange to meet along the highway for those that would prefer to follow someone.
