Below are trail clearing requests which may still require attention.

Note: If any of the below has already been addressed, please let us know (for removal).

TRAIL NAME Wolf Creek
CLEARING NEED Three (3) trees down: one starting trail just after picnic tables, two others after the 3rd creek crossing. I did not get further than that so don’t no what’s up on the hill.

TRAIL NAME Griffith Branch
CLEARING NEED The trail that goes into the woods from the parking lot is full of black berry thorns about 1/8 of a mile in. It will be easily found in the more open area. Trail is blocked for a long ways. It is basically shut by the thorns. If you try to push your horse thru it you will be torn up by the thorn branches. Gloves, clippers and a long sleeved shirt needed. Also, bug spray, nasty flying critters out there.

TRAIL NAME Paint Creek
CLEARING NEED There are TONS of trails up there and loop possibilities but ALL of it is overgrown and needs clearing. These trails would be suitable for ALL riders because there are no ledges that we could find and they are all wide – forest service road wide. The stuff that needs cut is along about a mile stretch and it’s easy stuff to cut there is just a lot of it.

One of my friends would be willing to help when available to show where some trails are.  She knows the area very well and took us on what would have been a beautiful loop if not for the growth.  It was a loop that would have combined with the trail from the day parking to make a nice maybe 3 or 4 hour ride with views.  When it cools off I may have a few people who could team up and start at both ends to do this one.
