We have identified a section of the Davis Creek trail as our objective for our upcoming trail work day. It is a section about 1/2 mile in length but heavily overgrown in Rhododendron.
We will meet and park at the Margarette Falls parking lot at 9:00 AM and then combine in 1 or 2 trucks to drive to the trail. The best tools are loppers, nippers and hand saws. Boots, gloves, and eye protection are recommended. Insect spray as you choose. This time of year bees are always a possibility. Water and a snack are always good. This is likely about a 3 hour task. Please call Richard Jamison at (843)670-9000 if you plan to attend. Thanks for your volunteer work.
